Highest I have seen is 39 psi, this is off the attitude monitor and I can hit it stock no problem, even in 3 it doesnt go over 39 psi although I have never really gotten on it on 3. After the discussion in the last thread I wonder if the previous owner put a boost fooler on my truck?? Where do you install one so I can check?

 

Ive had mine to 52 lbs...I dont do it very often tho hehehe

your edge is probably set at about 35~36 psi... once boost gets beyond the setting, the wastegate is opened to bring it back down. you can change the setting on the attitude for max boost...

 

36psi, anything over 40psi on a stock turbo on a 2nd gen is useless, all your doing then is warming up the intake air so much you can't use it.

 

I can nail 35# easy stock. I also have the boost limit on my TST on. . .thats set to 35#. I had it off ONCE, and only one time. . .just from the sound the turbo made I would have to say I was in the 45-50+ range.

my gage only goes to 35#, and the needle was WAY past that.

 

He's got a 3rd gen truck Jake... they are suppoesd to be good to the mid 40's

Lol, can someone give me an answer? It just seems that I am running more boost than everyone (stock) and that doesnt seem right.
