I would check ebay also, I found mine there and got it for $60 cheaper that suggested retail. It was one of those best offer deals.

hell yeah it'll increase mileage... the tst is the only one that I know of that has a specific program for economy. If you want to wait and see what I come up with over the next few months, then you'll know if it's worth it or not (IMO worth it!)

edit: oops forgot you have a 2nd gen truck... not sure what's out there for the 2nd gens... but i'd still say it's worth it.

Steve,
I know you lost mileage with adding the larger tires, did getting the box (TST) add that much back and make it a wash?

I would check ebay
I know I'm not the norm here, but I've never bought a thing from ebay. It's just not my bag. I'd rather spend the 60 extra and buy direct rather than buy from some cat selling out of his garage. If I have a problem, Im covered. Otherwise, good luck getting John Doe to hook you up.

No thanks. The last thing I need is another ride in the back of a squad car.

I think it ends up being a wash... the best mileage I got before the tires was mid 18's, since the tires I've gotten into the mid 18's 2x. I do however have a completely different truck then before the tires so it's hard to say. what would be interesting is to see how it would do with stockers on there. my guess is i'd be in the 20's on the hiway...

Well there you go. I now have justification for getting a box with the bigger tires. If I save 2 mpg, my cost for the box is a wash after 48,000 miles

After that its just gravy. I wonder if I can sell this... hmm it may still cost me some shiny baubles...[:@]
