tsb info help
hey the newbie again. if the vehicle is over the advertised warrenty period, does a tsb mean the dealer must perform the work at no charge to the customer. i find they get me with the $100 deductible all the time. i want to be really clear on this because if i bring the truck in again and again its $100 every time. i just want to be absolutley clear that if i go to the dealer with all the correct #'s on their tech service bullit that they are obligated to perform the work even if i am over the warrenty period, for the record i have 20k left on powertrain warrent.
that is a good question. . .however from what I can tell, if you have any part of the powertrain warranty left they should perform powertrain specific TSB's at no charge. however the others are probably something they could get the $100 for.
