Tire Questions
I am asking this so I have the answer befor I need it.
Do I need E rated tires, I tow a 3000 pound boat and trailer, do E rated tires give longer life I know they are more expensive but choices are limited.
Can anyone tell me the largest size tire I can put on the factory rims without a lift or any modification.
I would like to get a tire with improved off-road abilities over the stock tires, they are giving good life but are pretty much useless on the hunting lease.

RE: Tire Questions
Best tires I could find -
Pro Comp xtreme allterrain 305/65/17. They areE load, rated for 3195 lbs a peace. There is bascally no road noise and the ride quality is basically the same as stock, with or with outmy trailer. I have heard that if you let them down to about 6psi you can still get them to wrap around rocks, when you go offroadin'. There is absolutly no rub on my truck, but Ihave a 2" level kit (see sig),however my educated guess is that they wouldn't rub with out the 2" level either.
Cheapest place I could find to buy them -
www.4wheelparts.com

RE: Tire Questions
Crap I have to keep editing my post causeI am forgeting stuff. I also wanted to note that they have a 40,000 mile tread warranty, and to my knowledge theseare oneoffew offroading tires that have a waranty. Obviously it would be nice if they would last longer than 40,000 miles, but just the fact that the manuf. is confident that they will last at least 40k is a good sign that they will last longer.
