RE: Time to replace my tires
I've got the Pro Comp Expreme A/T's 25x12.5OR17LT's (wanted to keep them on stock rims) on my rig. They are great! Wonderful ride, no major noise. I have tow'd (the '89 Ram Charger on a trailer) w/ them and they worked great!
I had a lot of problems with the stock tires breaking loose. That is why I switched out.
(There are pics of the tires in my gallery)

I have Toyo ATs in 35" and they are good on the highway and on trails. I wouldn't sugguest them for Central Florida clay based mud, they're not good at clearing the muck and turn into slicks real fast.
Sorry to hear about your HOA problem, you should be able to go as high as 3.5" without them knowing. I've dealt with a few in the Melbourne area and they never told what I could and couldn't do with my truck. Those rules are usually to keep outthe older and wilder trail rigs that shouldn't even be street legal.

Nope - - I think about it every time I fill up though Honestly I think I've lost a couple MPG but not really enough to worry about.

Did you re-gear your truck for those tires?

I was joking because you put 25 as oppose to 35 inch tires. I too have 35s. perfect size for our rigs.
