Cold air=more power.
not necessarily... on the diesels , 100 to 110 will get you the most power. the fuel mixture is burning more completely at that temp. anything colder or hotter & performance will drop off. you guys with the edge attitude, program one of your gauges for the IAT temp and leave it like that for a while and you'll see what I mean.

I don't know if I would buy from this company being it thinks we have 8 Cylinders, 6.0 L engines in our trucks [:@]

This item would be good if you are going track with your truck. But the Quadzilla Commander is more practical for the CTD. It allows you to monitor EGT, fuel pressure, boost, coolant temp, and oil/tranny temp. You can set alarms if you go over or under a certain value and it works with other performance boxes allowing you to de-fuel if you set off one of your alarms. I personally don't have a use for the 0-60 and 1/4 mile time.

Charles, the Dashhawk only collects data off the obdii port so it wont matter if it was a 4,6 or 8 cylinder.

As for a track tool, yeah it would be an awesome too @ the track. it would also be an awesome tool to debug potential problems in a car or truck that has the CAN setup... I would use it for performance mods personally... you can determine which mod is doing what and where your getting the best performance from it. great example is when I had my edge installed, I used the air temp readings to see how the temp was affecting performance, then I noticed that (thru the butt dyno) when the IAT was between 100 & 110 deg, it had the most power, go lower or higher and you could feel the power start to drop off.

The other thing to mention is with a tool like that, you could really tune all of your cars, not just the truck. It would be nice if they had something like that for a regular obdii port...
