I think he had a breakdown and took a few weeks off in tahiti or something. His truck is just sitting in pieces and he is just taking it easy. If that isnt what happened, you better have one good excuse for not keeping us up to date.

I thought I mentioned it ... maybe not. The #4 cylinder that had the damage wasn't too bad. It needs to be bored .10 over so, I'm doing all the cylinders the same. It could have been sleeved to go back to stock pistons but, I opted for custom cut pistons.

It's in Indiana having a full custom long block built with lots o goodies. It will probably be the middle on Aug. before I get it back. The pistons are made to order and that take almost a month alone.

I'll be doing a motor dyno before it goes back in the truck so, I post some results from that and tracks time when I can.

Only 45 minutes from me. You want me to go test drive it for a second opinion after Scheid's done with it? You must have deep pockets. I've heard they do decent work (for the most part) but they definitely get their ducats for it.

No they aren't cheap but, neither is anywhere else. Most of the cost is in the machine work and parts. I'd say they do more than desent work since they've been doing it for over 25 yrs. and have some of the top pulling trucks in the country. I haven't talked to one person that's said any different but, I suppose there's a few. You'll have that anywhere.

I liked the idea of knowing the place that did the work will still be around down the road.... ya never know about some of the other places.
