Default I need gauge help fellas !!

I'm about ready to cheat, andI don't want to.

I can't find the wire to splice into for the lights to save my life. I'll bet I've spent almost 2 hours trying to find it. It got to the point whereI just started poking random wires and the next thing you know my fuel pump starts running, sounded like my emergency brake gave way, all kinds of stuff. I stopped right there for fear the air bag would deploy !!

I thought that maybe I could tap into either my ashtray light or the cup holder light but neither one lit the test light. Both bulbs were out though, do you think that had something to do with not getting the test light to light? Like, if a bulb is out does it stop the connection?

I'm almost done and it's going pretty good. My boost gauge doesn't work though. I pulled the gauge and it looked like the line might have gotten kinked, so I hafta get a new ferrel tomorrow and try it again.

Does it take a while to give you a reading?

Thanks in advance !!

That's AWESOME, and I'll look for it, but that will only turn the gauges on and off with the lights right? They won't dim though with the dash right?

Black and yellow wire ... GOT IT !!

Thanks !!

[sm=hail.gif][sm=hail.gif][sm=hail.gif][sm=hail.gif][sm=hail.gif] Frone, you da MAN !!!! [sm=hail.gif][sm=hail.gif][sm=hail.gif][sm=hail.gif][sm=hail.gif]

I just got back from outside and it's done. 100% of my problem was that whoever installed my alarm system left a NIGHTMARE balll of wire tucked under the dash.EVERYTHING is covered with this ball and they cut their wires so short that you can't really pull it open. I wa also afriad to pull too hard because I didn't want to pull the wires apart. I'd NEVER be able to figure out where they went !!

Thanks again Frone !!!

How about the boost gauge? Does it take a while to register ( show a reading ) ?
