Default Add to our Drews Brew? CA-40 fuel additive

This additive looks like it's worth a try. I just ordered a gallon.

I just got a link for this stuff from my son ... He got it off the TDI forum.

Interesting stuff... New additive which seems to help reduce fuel requirements/usage in farm equipment.

It also has increased dyno #'s

Link to Lubricity Comparison Tests:

1 Gallon of this stuff treats roughly 2000 - 2500 gallons of fuel. That's going to cut my $ spent on additives at wally world.

Works in gasoline too. (not to sure if it will hurt O2 sensors though)

This graph may explain why it makes more power... Hence less fuel used:

Power increases in L14 Cummins, and consumptions tests on L14 and 418 "cat":

I got a gallon and will divide with my son to use in his VW TDI He commutes 195 miles a day. He and I can see if there is a real pay back in fuel savings let alone the lube it will add in the ULSD

I searched this site... nothing on it.. SOoooo I thought I would post this info.

After watching the vid clips on TV and from reading the TDI forum I thought I would share it here.

I have nothing to do with this company....

EVEN with both my son and my fuel usage that gallon may last us a while

I'm going to get a big syringe thingie from the farm store so I can better measure and "inject" my tank with the "serum" ...

LOL It's a Pre Injection event! LOL

Sounds like good stuff.. It's still not an anti jell or injector cleaner. I have a case of HOWES Injector cleaner .. and PS in the white jug for the winter... I will just add the CA-40 to my "blend".... one for summer and one for winter.

If you have used it or plan on using it let's share notes on how it works and post here. I keep close notes on my MPG. I log every fill up .... GAL + Miles and type of driving.

I use 2 cycle oil in my "Brew" (1/2 oz per gal).. I will just use up what's left and then just use the CA-40
