Hey thanks guys ALL great advice, I do have a shut down timer now also, and the EGT probe is as shown in Bigriver's pictures ( infact under his hood looks the same as mine, Pac Brake and all) so yea a good idea would be post Turbo for it then.

Thanks guys I knew you would have the solution for me.

Sharx thanks about my daughter, she is 20 and is in the process of making me a grandpa, and there are some major complications coming up now in the final stage, only 4 weeks to due date, and she has spent all day in the hospital , but is now on her way home to be bed ridden for the duration
Hmmm, me a Grandpa at 45 , I never would have thought LOL

Ralph

Yeah Ralph, variation is the spice of life........why not have two egt readings. I failed to notice your sig showing that you have a Pacbrake. I called Pacbrake and was told to take out the aft female plug, not the forward male plug, for fitting the egt probe.(Small wonder that the females are easier to take out, especially the dumb blonde ones!!),(sorry any ladies reading this, I couldn't resist.......I had a Mayfair Moment!) OK.....yes, the two diffeent readings will give more info, for what?..... the more knowledgeable ones here are more qualified to answer that. Forthe here and now, below is a pic of the layout.Good Luck Buddy..

Sorry guys
Looks like I may have misled you's

I have order'd the JUICE not the Juice with Attitude. SO I guess I will NOT be getting the extra monitering, but will have the protection of the engine temp monitering before it starts to do its thing, so its all good for me,

Ralph

Not a problem Ralph, The more we talk and respond to these posts, the more we can ALL learn. Thats the benifits of this forum. If not for everyone here, yourself included, I'd still be in the dark, wondering what if?, I'm not sure,or I better not!

Yeah, I'd go post turbo as well and that way you could also use the turbo cool down feature. You can do it !!
I went post turbo with mine for the turbo timer. The lowest setting you can go is 250 deg.on the timer, is this cool enough for the turbo with the 400 deg. difference in pre-post turbo?

I plan on getting a pyrometer and just using the edge for another function. I am happy with my edge but in the event of having to go to the dealer it would look bad itf I had a plug in the manifold or an egt probe that went no where. I think I am going to make that my next fiberglass project, I am going to make a pillar like the edge has available but incorporate a guage somewhere in there. If someone happens to have an edge pillar laying around it would surley help if I could borrow it for few days to make a mold from.
