Autometer A-pillar and gauges install w / PICS !!
Well, whatI did was just keep going back and forth from the truck to the workbench until I got it to fit.
Originally, I couldn't get it to fit because of the speaker, so I trimmed that section out. Then,I re-installed the stock pillar and slid the new pillar over it with duct tape temporarily holding it together. It was when i couldn't slide it all of the way down that I realized that it was now toofat at the bottom so I trimmed the bottom of the original. Back and forth back and forth until I got it to work. I'm sure I made it harder thanit needed to be, but I got it to finally fit and work. Just take your time and you'll be fine. Take a look at the pics I postedon the first page as a guide. Just remember to be gentlewhen removing and re-installing the pillar. Those clips are kinda dainty.

ok this is what i have got so far. I was wondering about the back side of the pillar it doest match up perfect but the back side tucks in between the windshield and the a pillar so you cant really notice it ? also i test fit and its a tight fit to get the bottom pin in the hole, but i dont think there is anything i can cut to make it easier its just the added bulkiness of the cover.

Don't forget to trim the pins that you install, otherwise they'll hit the metal pillar as you are trying to re-install it. I found that out the hard way. [:@]
ok i got it all in and wired up but now the only gauge that works is my vaccum. I made a homemade T and put it in my trans line i took it for a short trip and its about 25 or so outside so it might not have warmed up enough and i spliced into the wires on my oxygen sensor and it doesnt work so if anyone could help with which wire to connect to when i replace my sensor would be alot of help. I've also got an 0132 code and i cant find what it means.

Trans Temp(it may work but its only 20 outside with a wind chill of low teens) A/F, Boost/Vaccum. Thanks for the write up as it really made this alot easier than it would have been.
A/F is air fuel and yes they are working i just didnt give the A/F enough of a chance to warm up. Once again i would like to thank you on an EXCELLENT write up on this. I never would have cut and completely demsolished my old pillar if it wasnt for this write up. It turned out great thanks to you.
ohh and i prolly more than doubled what i cut out(and drilled out) in the first pictures but i was in the zone and didnt take many pictures of it, plus i couldnt have got as good quality you did.
