swapping diff fluids, finishing off the gauge install (few wires left) and scoping out a spot for an aux fan up front... I want to put 2 10" fans up front to help out the a/c and help minimize heat soak on the innercooler during stop & go traffic. anything bigger than 10" wont fit... not enough room.

Hey steve,
What fans are you using, I've been looking at the flex-a-lite but hadnt quite figured out what dimensions (specifically the depth limitations) I need to get.

Be sure to take plenty of pics !!!

Good luck brotha !!
I used a pump so there's not much to see... put the suction tube into the diff & the output tube in the oil pan & turn it on. then a funel & hose to refill... I got a marine oil change pump to do the dirty work for me and it worked great... took a few minutes to get it drained since the inlet tube is supposed to go down the dipstick of a motor. I just got done with the front and dont have enough room in the oil pan so I'm gonna go dump it before I do the front diff. when I do the front i'm going to swap hoses... the output hose is 2x as big as the inlet hose. I'll see how that works out.

GA... I'm looking into these fans...

they are cheep enough that if I cant get it to fit, I wont be out much... the plan is to make a foam mock up of it and see where I can get it to fit.

They look similar to the ones Demon uses. Are you going to mount them as pushers or pullers?

they'd have to be a pusher, there is not enough room in front of the engine mounted fan.

and the answer is.... IDK... my egt gauge is not working right. might have to do with the egt probe. I swapped the probe conenctions over to the extra tst harness I had and I cant get it to work. needle settles down on 1400 and then will jump around to a lower temp when the input temp gets higher. It is never consistant so IDK what's going on with it.

I did get my tranny temp gauge done though so I at least accomplished something...

Someone on here bought some and said they were junk. Not sure where the thread went on them. Running two gauges off one sensor, I don't know. Never done it before, never seen it done. I say give it a try, the worst that could happen is you need another pyro.

I think the Dipricol are so expensive because until now, they were the only one's making a RP gauge and had the market cornered. I can't say the gauges are junk but, I've seen some weird thing happen with it. It can put out some very erratic readings sometimes. For the cost, you'd think you'd never have to get another gauge again.

Since Quadzilla has now come out with a digital RP setup... I bet we'll see the price of Dipricol start to drop

As I said eariler in this post... I've ran my Isspro and TST on the same EGT probe for months. Never had a problem. Both read very close to the same.

one thing to add here is my TST has the built in RP gauge... you have to switch the monitor to it but it's there.

yeah, I wish I'd have known the RP would work on my truck before I bought the TST. I've been waiting over 6 month now for them to figure out the newly reprogramed system they're making. For those that don't know... the TST's RP doesn't work on trucks new than 6/06. They're still working on it as of this month. I may have to look into the new quadzilla gauge.
