Adjusted my valves
a write up for allfour would be good. one for the 12 valves, the 24valve VP44's, 24 valve HPCR's and the 6.7's.
there is a slight change between the 05 and 06 engines with the way the injector harness connects, but past that it is the same.

I think that's a good idea, I'm planning on doing mine maybe next weekend not exactly sure yet. I'd be using the hansen manual which suggests 150k for every valve adjustment. If I remember right that is, it's not onhand right now. I could take pics if ya would like.

yeah a DIY would be awesome because i'm 250 miles away from 60,000. that would sure beat taking it to the stealer. whats the easiest way to turn the engine over while setting the valves?

to do an easy summary, bring #1 to TDC then check #1 - Intakeand Exhaust #2 - Itake #3 - Exhaust #4 - Intake #5 - Exhaust, then rotate crank 360 degrees(one full revolution) then check #2 - Exhaust #3 - Itake #4 - Exhaust #5 - Intake #6 - Intakeand Exhaust
intake gest checked at 0.010" and the exhaust gets checked at 0.020"
My crank pulley had several 15mm bolts, IIRC. I put a socket on one and used a long handle 1/2" ratchet and turned it that way. I couldn't see them at all, I had to do it by the braille method[:@] The fan and shroud are so close to the engine there wasn't any other way to turn it over. You just have to turn it real slow due to the compression
Figuring out how to turn the engine over was the hardest part of the whole job.
If no one beats me to it, I will do a DIY on the CR valve adjustment this Sunday.
