Default 2500 4x4 Rough Ride

[sm=feedback.gif]Okay, I got a smart a$$ reply on the other forum, but my deal is this. I need help in making a softer ride for my '07 2500 4x4 quad cab. The truck is extremely rough/stiff. I'm on the verge of selling, but really like the truck as a whole.Any suggestions minus the attitude is greatly appreciated.

I've heard people here use the Billstein shocks and have been pleased with them. I DEFINATLY wouldn't bail on the truck though because it doesn't ride like a caddy. It isn't going to.

I'd research the Billsteins and maybe check your tire pressure. If you have too much in there the truck will hop all over the place.

Best of luck, and Welcome Aboard !!

Change your suspension. I would go w/ a Lorenz, Carli, Kore or Thurensetup. It is more money than a conventional level kit w/ shocks. My Lorenz system is night and day compared to the stock. No body roll, tighter around turns/corners, no rearend hopping, don't get jolted over bigger bumps and pot holes or washboard roads.

If you don't have the funds to get a complete setup. You can start w/ the front end w/ HD coils, endlinks, trac bar, steering stabalizer and shocks. Then go w/ mini leafs or full leafs and shocks in the rear. You will love the ride of the truck. You are still going to have alittle stiff ride like the stocker w/low speeds, but highway speeds on and off road you will like it.

www.lorenzindustries.com
www.koreperformance.com
www.thecarlisuspension.com
www.thurenfabrication.com

Call each one and ask all question you can think of. Lorenz you have to email Sean and he will contact you within 24 hours.
Hope this helps.

slap a different susupension on your truck and you'll sing a different tune... best of both worlds! I like the way mine is riding and for the $1000 bux I think it was worth it. I did not loose my load carying capability either...
