what is stacking? Since this model is adjustable should I be running it cranked all the way up? I am not towing anything. When I stomp the gas it smokes a little. I can say it works very well.
Stacking is using more than 1 programmer/box at one time. I've heard up to three so I assume you can run no more that three boxes at once.

well. . .tripple stacking is when you have a programmer and two boxes. these are the guys that are running either a large single or twins with all sorts of other goodies.
when you stack boxes you normaly try and use a timeing duration with a pressure box to utilize all aspects of the injection cycles. when one does this they actualy use lower settings and achieve higher power due to the two boxes working off each other. some of the more used stacks are a programmer and a pressure box. I personaly dont like this since the pressure will dammage the injectors and pop the rail relief valve. however if you keep certian settings low enough to not do this, but high enough to get what you need you would be surprized what happens.
in the relm of performance boxes/programmers. the programmers adjust all aspects of timeing, duration of the injectors, and the pressure off the CP3. when it comes to the boxes, edge, TST, MP-8. they either do pressure, timeing/pressure, or timeing and duration. only the TST box with the latest software will do all three from one box.

I would only run it about 50% personaly. since it is a pressure box you are demanding more of the CP3 and the injectors. The CP3 doesnt like to flow alot of fuel and high pressure at low RPM's. modify the FCA and you can help things out, but that is a different story not for the faint of hearts.
can it be run cranked up all the time, yea, it can. any box can be run at 100% all the time. however there comes a point when drivability suffers due to there beign way too much power on tap. heck, even my TST set on 4/3 (less than 50%) I can smoke the clutch at take off above 2500rpm, and I can make it slip when I nail it in any gear. anything above 6/6 is just nutz when it comes to spooling the turbo and closing an intersection. it just depends on how dark you want the smoke, and 9/9, I'm not even going there.
