06 Dodge Ram Mega CTD, SUSPENSION?
I lifted the front end 2.5" with a ReadyLift spacer and now notice that when I go over dips at high speeds, say 78 MPH, I am getting a sensation of the shocks topping out or bottoming out whichever term you prefer. My question is if I get new shocks, say Bilstein BE5-C603-HO, will that solve the problem or should I look to upgrade my suspension a bit more including doing a 4.5" lift kit package?
Thanks for the help.
Thanks for the help.
Is it only in the front? Your shocks may be at their expansion limits. If this is the case, look for shocks that are for 2-2.5" lift. I had a 2" leveling kit for a year and never noticed that. If you want to lift your truck, it should solve the problem, but I wouldn't lift it just to fix a shock problem, kinda expensive.
I had an 03 hemi with a 2.5" leveling kit before this truck and I would have to say that the full lift kit is way better, after the leveling kitmy 03 always had sloppy steering and would get a wobble after hitting a bump, my 06 has none of these issues
