I would do a little more looking around on a 5.9L to find one that has 4x4 (not always neccasary and hurts mileage a bit but comes in handy every now and then) with all the features with low miles. Because look at it this way, the money you save you can put in to other modifications like Shaun was saying. Also you might want to check this out. https://dodgeforum.com/m_883117/tm.htm

I can't speak for the 5.9, but I would trust what these owners are saying. I had a similar delema... I could have gotten'07 5.9 or the 6.7 with virtually the same features.I figured with a 5 year 100K mile warranty, I could live through the pains of the new motor. The issues with the 6.7L aren't really as bad as they seem as you read through the various posts on the forum.I survived thefirst major problem, the Particulate Filter clogging. I love the truck and it's power. We'll see what's next (under warranty)!

If your already in Idaho go take a look at Dave Smith in Kellog http://davesmithmotor.com/

My dad bought one there years ago and saved almost 10 grand compaired to buying the same truck here in Western Wa. They do internet only deals that add another value to the deal.

That price I said was from Dave Smith. I wrote D. Smith in northern Idaho -- that is the Dave Smith price.
