Dang sorry to hear bout all that, I have a 3rd gen, guess ill have to check under the hood and make sure everything is tight

 

ok well to add to the stress I have gotten into a accident with the rental. Was t-boned at an intersection. I enterd the intersection on a yellow light and it turned red while I was in it and the person comeing the other way went and hit me. They have a witness saying their light was greenso it looks like im getting shafted on this one.

Were you turning or going straight thru? If they were on the cross street, how did they get going so fast? There's no way that if you had a yellow that theirs was green, I believe,.there's a little "lag time" on the signals.

There is a little lag time. Only thinig I can think of is that I enterd it right at the time it turned red and I did not see it turn,( looked up saw yellow, then looked back at road as enterd turn ). I did not by anymeans go fast through the intersection (I was driving a stratus, my truck handles better).

What you gonna do though.

I've been noticing a bit of difficulty, occasionally, with my steering. Pump is full, no leaks. Sitting still and attempting to turn either way will sometimes be damn near impossible. Have to either rev, which sometimes doesn't work,or move forward while trying to steer.

Something to worry about? Or not????

 

Well just got the call my truck is done. They were able to locate a pump and replaced it. Come to find out it was not only the pump but the steering box also had a hole in it. Now I have a brand new pump and steering box. I will let you guys know how it feels when I get back with her.
