I'm on a roll now !!

My buddy just got a new Durango and he had his windows tinted to match the back windows and it really turned out good. It got me to looking at my own set up and now I find myself looking at EVERYONES windows. The more and more I look at everyones windows the more and more I notice how silly they look with dark rear windows and clear fronts. Take a look around, you'll see what I'm talking about. Brand new Taurus's or whatever driving around with dark backs and clear fronts.

anyway ...

I'm having my fronts tinted to match the rears. Has anyone done this yet? If so, is it really dark inside now? I'm a little worried, but not much. Driving around the last couple of nights I look out of the back windows to see what it'll look like and it's not that differnet from the fronts, but I dunno.

Whadda ya think ??

 

Might want to see if tint on the front windows is legal. I dont know about PA but alot of northern states its illegal. I didnt think it was too dark inside, made the inside of the vehicle alot cooler.

 

Mine are all tinted, lighter in he front then the back. the completely clear in the front with tint in back does look a little out of place.

 

I'm not looking to tint the very front window, the one in front of you, just the drivers and passenger windows to match the windows behind them, that's what I meant.

 

yeah tinting the windshield would be bad

 

you might need to check the legal limit for the tint. I know in GA it is 35 on the side fronts, you can go to 0 on the back and 0 no farther than 6" from the top of the winshield.

Arizona state tint law requires 20% light view....Iam at 3%....but it looks awesome, I got lucky because the one ticket I got for it, My doctor gave me a medical excuse to get me out of it.

Also ...

If I'm driving in another state, can they give me a ticket, or is it only the state that you live in? Kinda like inspections.
