Next mod comming up this weekend
Why did you have to make me think about it.
Damn you!!
Now I am **** driving around with my windows not matching. They used to be REAL strict here in Southern California on tinted windows but they have loosened the reigns a little.

In California its illegal to have the front door windows tinted to any shade. Back door windows and rear window has no tint limit. Your only aloud to have tint on your front winshield only to the point of where your rear view mirror mounts to the windshield, or not further than 4 inches down from the top of your windshield.
I had to remove my front door tint as I kept getting pulled over. I learned the hard way.

How much was the ticket for?
Also ...
If I'm driving in another state, can they give me a ticket, or is it only the state that you live in? Kinda like inspections.

My tickets were $110..... for each window. And of course another state can ticket you, its their road, their laws and if your car has something that is illegal in their state on their roads, better believe they will ticket you..Just like the helmet laws on motorcycles. Just cause "your state" has no helmet law does not mean you can ride in another state with no helmet that has the helmet law, and expect not to get ticketed.
I have my fronts tinted 30 and the backs at 3%. On my other truck I had my fronts at 25% but that was too dark to see at night. I am happy with the 30. Texas is a relaxed state since we can have the fronts tinted up to 25%

I know Jersey for example can't ticket you for driving a car with an expired inspection sticker. Something about jersey not having the juristiction over a PA inspection, something like that.
As far as helmets go, well they're the same as seatbelts. Each state can write you a ticket as they wish for not wearing one, but don't EVEN get me started on that rant !! I honestly and truely believe that it should be up to the individual, not the government as to wether you need either.
Savage - no takers yet huh? GOOD !! The longer it takes the more the price drops !!

Squirt, what percentage do you think stock rear windows ( behind the drivers and passenger windows ) are?
