Default Bully Dog or Edge

I know both chips fairly well, but we just bought a bigger horse trailor and would like better milage. We're also looking for an exhaust that is as quiet or quieter than the stock along with an Airaid air intake. And I will prob be doing all this to my pickup as well along with transmission work (auto). Also my pickup will not need any exhaust work (Fully Straight/Loud and Proud). They are both 2001 Cummins and be nice for little horsepower on mine but more for milage, as for the horse puller we'd like little more hp and just as much milage if possible (it makes 11.4 average stock with 145,000 miles)

I would go with the Edge due to its built in safety features, then after youve modified a few other parts you could upgrade to the "Hot" box if you wanted more power

I just did the Edge Comp and love it.
I tow trailers and push snow in the winter , so I know
what ya meen about trying to find something that'll do good rather than bad.
The nice thing about this box is U have different power levels and U can turn it off.
I'm a happy camper w/ this one , check'em out.

Yea, Well I got an uncle who used a Bully Dog for years and loved it and a friend who put an Edge on his pickup and said it woke it up on just stage one. But I will prob end up getting the edge for both pickups

I'm still considering the Edge EZ strictly for mileage though.
