Hey Jake I got 33 pounds today.
I laid into it on the way to town today.
I only let off because it's a hand full over 75.
I need to look into alignment.
SoNauty, no pics I don't have a camera , I'm getting my techno , butt kicked.
The amish are getting more advanced than me.
Mayfair I'm betting the reason U ain't got that kind of boost is the me and Jake got the Comp box.

Mayfair you should be seeing at least 23lbs of boost, I think stock the wastegate opens at 26psi.

Do you think I have a problem somewhere??
Mayfair you have way to many problems for any of us to even start talking about on here. We'd need an entire new forum just for that topic!

At what point should I see this 23lbs? Is it when I mash the holy heck out of it? Going up the side of a mountain?

Most of the time when I'm just driving along ( crusing ) it's at around 0-4 lbs. When I get into it a bit lets say to merge onto a highway, it'll get up into the teens, however it wiggles around a lot so I's not quite sure of the EXACT number. I don't think I've ever seen it get to 20 or past that, but maybe that's because at that point I'm watching the road.

Someone mentioned a fitting that Diesel Manor sells that's supposed to smooth out the wobbly boost problem. Has anyone ever used this fitting?

Pressure Gauge Stabilizer
This orifice stabilizes Boost and Fuel Pressure Gauges from erratic needle movement. Equipped with 1/8"NPT male and female ends, it is intended to be mounted furthest away from the gauge.

Part #: C-305-263 Price $3.95

Mayfair just had a thought, how do you feel about drilling and tapping a hole in your intake elbow? I believe your erratic boost is due to the boost bolt being so close to #1 intake valve. If yur willing, I'll show ya how and where I put my line.

Should I try that fitting first?

If you don't think it'll help then yeah, why not drill it and tap it? I'll give it a shot. Where do I drill it?
