LOL, what is CAC piping?

 

Charge air cooler. You mentioned that your boost only went up to 20psi meaning either you have a leak between the turbo and the engine, or your not getting enough fuel. Since yur egts are fairly close to mine, I am assuming you are getting fuel. Therefor you should check your CAC and piping for leaks. Probably have a bad boot like cowboybob.

Do you mean the a/c hose with the crimped ends? We are a full line aeroquip distributor and we might be able get the ends and the hose next day and crimp them for you, I just need the other hose or specs on it so I can get the right ends, then ship it to you for alot cheaper than what the dealer might charge.

 

LOL .... I'm not scared to check it, I just haven't done it yet. Unfortunately this WORK stuff is hemming up my social life and my free time.

I guess I shoud start by removing all of the boots and looking them over huh? Are replacement Dodge boots expensive? Maybe I should just replace them since I have them off huh, or do you think those 200 dollar silicone boots are worth it?
