My tranny (G56) gets too hot to touch after towing my camper. Sorry if this is not much help. I would think that if you changed the trans and transfer case oil twice you'll be OK. Good luck. I would also get that thing on the highway now for a good long run to heat the drive line up good and evap any remaining water out of it.

The new clutch just got here, of course I had to take it out of the box and take a look at it. Here is a pic of it while it is still clean.

Don't lie, you love the carpet, I guess that's what you get with a 100 year old farm house.
