Default Door Windows

FYI - I had my new Dodge almost a week and my passenger side window began to crack. I called my dealer where I got the truck, in TX, and they said that it was happening alot on these pickups. They said it was a recall item, but I have not seen anything on it. They had a dealer in PA replace it under warranty.

I was just wondering if anyone else had the any of the same issues.

They told me that it was due to the brackets inside the door. It was tough for me to end up getting it replaced under warranty but in the end I was able to.

The only bad thing, is that my warrenty went out about 10,000 miles ago [:@]. Since it is a recall do you think they will cover it?

Not sure, the thing is that my local dealership in Fairfield, TX said it was a recall, but every other dealer was not showing it as a recall. I never saw a recall on it so I am just not sure. Maybe it is something regional, all I can say is try and good luck.

I would imagine they would still cover recalls, never hurts to ask.

Mine did it a few months ago. Warrenty wouldnt cover it. I think the problem is the window pulls in on the top and if you look the side windows are laminated not tempered
