The owner of the RWS promoted me form a fitter/welder to a lead man on monday. Still do the same job I just have to make sure no one else screws up now and do the billing paperwork for the job i'm on. It is a nice move up for me.

Congrats. I got another job start the 30th so I'm happy. Job fell out underneath me right after I got married. Still made our payments and such. Just didn't have any extra money for mods, trips, fuel, fixing what i break. Do you get a raise with the new promotion? Hopefully you do. Happy for ya man.

Congrats, being the youngest guy there and being in charge is a great feeling. As long as you dont have a power trip and act like a ***** they should be cool with it.

 

Congrats man! Promotion always feels good, doesn't it. Its a shame that more companies don't promote from within the ranks these days though.
