I figure i'd ask this question since you're the only one I know of with a 6.7L and six speed manual. If these are the same trannies as in the 5.9 then sorry guys I didn't know and didn't mean to exclude. I was at my local dodge dealer taking my pops truck in for regular lube, oil, filter. and I see quite possibly the sexiest CTD in the lot that i was literally drooling over. perfect truck. patriot blue qcsb 4x4 6.7L CTD and six speed manual. i was lookin at the shifter and I noticed no first. just a big L where first is. is that mean the six speed manual ahs a granny gear only meant for when starting off with a load or what is it for?
Ditto on the fords. I have the manual and when towing i dont even use it. i like to use it to make noise in a parking lot or garage or anywhere i want to go slow and be heard.
I don't think they changed the transmission butI only usethe low gear when I am starting with my trailer up hill. If it is on level ground I don't even use it with the trailer.
