Thought I'd inform you guys I finally got the truck back, rebuilt tranny with an upgraded torque converter and tranny cooler, with warranty as long as I own the truck!!!!! I'm so happy I went out last night and was cruisin around with the girl and her uncle, when some guy in a honda came up besides me and kept pushing in the clutch and revving the engine, it was sooo annoying that I put my edge on stage 4 and punched it, lets just say he got a mouthful....lol his window was down!!! I love my new ctd and I look forward to posting much on here!

 

Glad to hear you like your setup. I'm sure other people will be courious as to where you got a warranty like that.

ha ha real funny gtx, lol ya i'm glad I got her back! she shifts PERFECT, for an auto LOL.And I got the tranny fixed at tanner transmissions, I think they are a Utah based company only though

I got a few questions, what should the EGT's be staying around when cruising around town? My EGT's have been sittin from 500-900, and its been 100+ degrees outside also.and if I get an exhaust how well will that drop my EGT's? thanks guys

 

cruise on, 70mph, flat I'll see 6-700. around town it depends on how I'm flogging the throttle. 5-900 depending on throttle sounds right.

dropping the stock muffler will lower EGT's around 100-150F

 

ok sound like mine is operating about right, what should the tranny temp be at? I had the transmission shop put a high performance one on there and the temp stays around 140-166

 

that sounds about right. . .load her down and you will see MUCH higher temps.
