Dry heat or not, when it is 1:00 a.m and 102 outside, it is hot. covered parking the key element ot Arizona. and if you are lucky enough to work from morning to night like me 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. that helps as well.

When I was in colorado they said it was 96 degrees (aparently it is dry heat there), and when I got off of the plane in St.louis it was 82 and much more miserable, gay humididty.

I think the worst place I've been for hot and humid would have to be Mobile Alabama, with Charleston, SC a close second. I will take 100 in AZ over 88 in either of those places any day!

While the temp here in new orleans doesnt typically reach 100 the 100% humidity and horrible mosquitos make it pretty bad. Usually when I walk outside in the morning at 7am its too warm to not use the a/c.

Come up north in the convergent zone (everett area), we get about twice as much rain as Seattle and we're a little cooler on average too.
