What to use on factory rims to polish up?
What do you guys use for wax or polish on the factory rims to make them look good? same with truck body. Does anyone use mcqguires or turtle wax? What about nerf bars? I tries stainless steel orange barbeque cleaner on my nerf bars and it seemed to work ok. I didnt try iut on the rims yet? Does anyone use a buffer ball and drill?
I use this stuff... http://www.wenol.com/ comes in the red box, worked real well on my rims.
For anything chrome or aluminum, I use Mothers Chorme polish. It's a paste that comes in little red and white container. I really like the stuff. For the truck, I like Wizards Mist and Shine andMeguiar's NXT wax. I've had the best results with Wizards and Meguiar products. +
Oh yeah, and that powerball, worth every penny and then some.

I had a set of bare aluminum rims on my Chevy (note to self: always get the chrome plated rims!). I used Mothers Mag and Aluminum Polish with the Powerball Mini. It's a great combination! It actually saves time to remove the wheel and lay it flat on the ground, so the lug nuts and hub are out of your way.

Seems to work good for me.

chrome is heavy and can look like crap just as easily as the alloy's... I like the alloy's for their weight difference, either way you still have to spend time on them to keep them looking like new...
I use a stainless steel polish cleaner and ploisher for my truck. It does a great job, I just dont use them on my rims because I have an after market rim that is black. Other than the rims I use it on all the chrome surfaces in my truck....from the nerf bars to the bull-bar and my grill....it leaves them great...as for my truck i like to use a spray was that i buy at wal-mart...not that expensive and leave my truck with a show room paint ...
