I like the fact that you can keep watch of many different things (regen, trans temp, pyrometer, engine temp etc.)in the 6.7L. But, can you use it without boosting the hp or torque? Can you use it just for diagnostic purposes?

 

I don't have mine installed yet (coming this week hopefully...), from what I have read there are actually 6 settings 0 is stock and 1-5 are power enhancements. I would imagine that there is probably a cheaper way of doing this, guage cluster or just attitude (no juice)??

 

You can keep it on "0" and use the Attitude monitor as a gauge cluster. The Attitude monitor will not work without the Juice module.

By the way, what's with your login name? Is a "V-8 Cummins Diesel" something you dreamed about?

 

buddy has it on his 6.7....just keep it on level 0 and if u wanta play go up a few.....

You'll haven't heard the lastest news! Cummins will introduce a V8 in 1/2 ton pickups in 2009. Thinking whether to wait then or pull the trigger on a 6.7L which I think would be the better motor. And, the bugs are being worked out of it also. The V8 will be new. Here is the link:
