I just did an oil change dealer was out of filters so I put a fram on. I have heard bad and good I am going to pull the fram off asap or do I really need to worry about it?

the mopar filter for these engines is just a remarked Fleetguard standard filter. it is the same filter that is put on the engine when it leaves the assembly plant.

To make a long thread short ... remove the Fram filter or pay the consiquences.
The old school Fram commercials used to say" You can pay me now or you can pay me later" You will pay dearly if the filter goes to pieces. Just my .02
