OK!! Well take it as you may. That is what I went therw and thought I would pass it on. But I would give your service manager a call and ask him about the memo on this and get his 2 cents. That was not bull because I read it myself. And no I'm not saying no manter what it is going to vibrate. They said if they tried to adjust it not to vibrate when loaded that it may start doing it agian unloaded. I just said F it!! and went on.

My '04 2500 CTD also has a vibration when I'm driving somewhere between 66-72MPH (with or withouta load) and it smooths out again right at 75 and higher. The part I am not sure of is if it is in the rear or the front because I feel a buzz in the steering wheel. I do sort of hear a "whaaa-whaa-whaaa" sound that seems to be coming from the back, but that may just be some sort of harmonic with the exhaust tone (the exhaust tone does pick up right at about 2,000 RPM on the tach).
It's more like a buzzing than it is a vibration, but you can definitely feel it in the steering wheel and it makes the rear view mirror buzz enough to slightly blur the vision in it.

As I recall, the truck has had this since day one, although it seems it has gotten a little worse over time. I asked my dealer about it when I had the truck in for maintenance and they cheked it out and said they could find nothing wrong. I assumed they all do this since it has done it since day one. Perhaps I'm wrong and shouldn't assume. Now I'm worried there is something wrong with the truck. I admit, I don't really like that buzz but it's hard to always drive 65 or 75 but nowhere in between.

Only one small problem with those TSB's...the first two do not apply to my truck (I have a 4x4 diesel, those are for 4x2 gas trucks). The last one sounds to be the best description of the issue, howeverit refers to older trucks.

When they say "2-piece propeller" I assume they mean the long bed truck that had one drive shaft that went to a bearing mounted under the bed, then another that went to the rear end. My truck is a QC short bed and has a single drive shaft from the transfer case to the rear end. Would this TSB still be relevent???

In my case yes it was relevent due to the fact I have a Mega Cab. I did not read everyone of the TSB's. Here is the link to them that I have so you can go take a look.
