How can you tell they open backward, they dont show them actually installed and looking at the pick I cant tell.

I think he's right and they do open backwards. If you look where the hinge is and the angle that the lid is pointing it looks like the hinge would have to be toward the back of your truck. Personally I wouldn't mind it as long as they go fully open when needed and don't flip all the way over and get stuck.

Also, $104 still seems expensive to me. I wouldn't think that a fab shop would be that bad.

what r u worried about ? just laerve em open, its not that big of a deal the only problem is that when it rains soot will be in the water after it sits and there will be a little on your *** end ...i just drilled a few 5/16" holes on the bottom of my pipes (elbows) i also wash my truck all the time so its not really a big deal to me...i kinda think the covers would make it look to bulky uptop, but i dont know...just my opinion

Ive got holes drilled in the elbows, I want them more for looks than anything...but would also like to keep the water out as much as possible.
