It's an s-max converted to 4 wheel drive (I was breaking to many driveshafts and half shafts) no reverse though. Nothin done to the 2.5. It is a little sluggish being straight piped and will only burn 1/2tank before it looses fuel, but it sure pisses the neighbors off

I bought mine with the old pro 15, ran great for a while, finally wore it out and rather than replacing it, I bought the .21 conversion kit and proline long arm kit. Looks bad ***, but I messed up and got a Hyper .21 turbo as the engine. BIG MISTAKE, the dang thing is so powerful that I had to replace all the shafts with metal ones and luckily before I blew the transmission out, I installed a slipper spur gear to take the stress off the drivetrain. The engine also has so much compression that you can only use the pullstart for an afternoon before it tears off. It sucks, the pullstarts are 20 bux, so i can only afford to run it like one day every couple months. Hmm an engine having too much power for the drivetrain, sounds familiar....

Have you considered the roto or tiger start option? I had put it on my mammoth from a savage and bolted right up.

I loved my truck back when it was runing. It is a traxxas rustler, but i put a 4-1/2 in lift kit on it and the bigger sand paddle tires and that thing was bad it had no problem doing a wheelie with those tires on it even with the stock motor. It has been down though for a couple of years since my puppy got a hold of the charger and the battery.

Mines been down since i went off a jump and hit the breaks in the air trying the get a complete front flip..made if half way and landed hard on its top.. crushing the fuel tank.. i really want to upgrade to a .21 .. but evena newer 2.5 would be a big improvement from the stock .15.. i can't even pop wheelies!
do you have on with the old pro .15 lol. well for one the 2.5 is a .15 but the 2.5 is one heck of an engine. I suggest doing the ERP and gettin a trx 3.3 or an os .21. I can't wait for teh OS .21 TM to make it to this country. It's gonna be one heluva an engine for a tmaxx.

it's the original .15 that i ported and polished.. it's just getting weak.. i don't want to go with a .21 because everything else will need to be changed.. if i had a spare 500 bucks i'd buy a edge-ez (for my full size turck.. not the maxx ) before putting it into the old tmaxx! i think just an upgrade to the newer 2.5 would make a big difference.. i've already geared it down to an 11 tooth pinion i believe.. it's been awhile i can't remember that for sure... it's got a tuned pipe.. and better servos.. but thats basically the only mods i have made
