Yea I know I haven't been around in a while, but I wrote a how to on a transmission job I did and that details how to get the tranny in and out. I did my clutch right before I moved so I'll get a real how to on the clutch. I like the south bend dual disc so far.

It was around 1800 I did all the work myself. The pedal feel is good, I haven't noticed the difference in pedal pressure between the dual and the 13 inch southbend I had in there before. I think I might have to do a hydraulics upgrade though. It releases at half pedal or so, but even with it to the floor I can still hear one of the plates grabbing a little and the synchro for reverse is not strong enough to stop it so I have to put it in a different gear to stop the input shaft and then put it in reverse. I talked to the guys at southbend and they said to give it time, I've got 2k on it now and have pulled my boat around for about 1k of that and it still does it. The clutch is pretty smooth though, about the same as the clutch I had in there before, maybe a little smoother even.
