The PPE works great for the Chevy's boys, but not for Dodges. The Smarty is a good programmer, but for $685 you will not get your money out of it. You will not be able to go past SW Level 3 (60hp) w/ a stock tranny. There are a few programmer/tuners out there for half the price for a stock tranny. Personally I would look at the Quad XTZ. It has 65 hp and 150 tq. I hear nothing but good thing about it. I may consider one down the line for my next tuner. There is also the Diablo Predator or Power Puck. You will also need guages w/ an increase of hp. Also speaking of guages. The Quadzilla XTZ w/ Commander Guage is the same as the Smarty.

I have the Diablosport no puck... asI still run stock tranny it has its 3 settings ..tow/economy,performance/extreme... running extreme as it got me the best mileage increase but i gotta be easy on the go pedal... it runs tranny temp a littler higher then other two settings. Got an increase of close to 2mpg on the extreme Best bet for stock auto, Smarty is diffinetly for built tranny!!

I would NOT recommend BullyDog. The product is good, excellent in that you can change settings on the fly, but the tech support is terrible. I have an ongoing problem for the past week resulting in 2 phone calls on hold for over 15 minutes each and 3 emails requesting them call me-I still have not talked to anyone. I am looking to replace the whole mess right now as well.
