RE: Diesel Prices
Guess I feel lucky that our fuel prices dropped 7 cents last Thursday back down to $2.78. What I don't get is that 2 weeks ago it went up and now its back down but one cent higher then it was before it went up. BTW, gas has been on a steady decline for the past month its now down to $2.63 from its high of $3.15.

RE: Diesel Prices
Here in Maryland the gasoline prices have been slowly decreasing over the past few weeks. 87-octane gas is now around $2.70. Diesel prices are less volatile, and are slowly moving downwards as well. Over the weekend I found a BP station selling ULSD for $2.83, which is the lowest I have seen for a long time.
I put 81 gallons of 89-octane gas in my boat yesterday. At $3.19 at my marina, it cost me $260!
The downward trend in fuel prices will probably continue. The weakening of the credit market due to mortgage defaults is causing hedge funds and other investors to dump commodities futures (like crude oil) to reduce risk.
