Default ABS Weak!

Is there any simple way to turn off my ABS brake system, sometimes my 2000 5.9 lacks brake power or feels like they release. New pads and true rotors last 6 months. Any help
appreciated.

I saw on extreme 4x4 or trucks that he madea disconect with a toggle switch. what he did was take the fuse out put a switch in between the circuit and wallah. Sorry I am tired and not explaining things well. let me know if you get he jist of it.

I experienced what sounds like a similar problem with my 1998 1500 QC (RIP). As I would slow to a stop, when my speed dropped below about 10-15 mph, the ABS would kick in and substantially reduce my braking power. I also noticed that my speedometer would drop from 15 to zero atabout the same time. Turns out that the speed sensor in the rear differential was bad. After replacing the sensor, braking and the speedometerworked normally.

Thanks for the info, do you folks know what else might be in series with the ABS fuse which
would be disconnected when the fuse is removed?

I do not know what else would be there. I would think it would be dedicated as it is a crucial component for safety (per manufactuer)
