i wasnt sure. but when ever it was in drive was when it was doing it. so thats why i think that it is the tranny not the motor. it even keeps doing it while driving for a little bit.

I experienced the same thing sorta when I had my powerstroke. Every time I took of with a heavy load I would get a shudder in the drive line. Was told it was the tranny, specifically the torque converter giving up. Was told eventually it would do it with no load and then die. Didn't have it long after that to see if it died or not. I would take your truck in and at least get it documented on paper before the warranty runs out. Then if it does go out after the warranty you have proof that it was a existing problem while still under warranty.

My truck shutters when I am pulling my 5th wheel. It only does it when I start moving from a dead stop, I was told that it is normal not sure now

Shuttering when taking off with your 5'er isn't normal. From what was explained to me the shuttering is from overtaxing the torque converter. I installed a product from Banks called trans command. It helped the slushy shifting of the ford tranny and if I was gentle at take off the shudder was minamal. I don't know if they have something simular for dodge trannys or not. Don't know how heavy yours is, mine dresses out around #13,500lbs. Now run a CTD with 6-spd manual and have lots more power and no more shutter!
