Default Edge EZ

Just bought an Edge EZ Module. I was just wondering if anyone is using this module, and how hard it is to install, and how they like it. Any info is much appreciated. (2004 2500 CTD QC 4x4)

I'm thinking about the same one. The install looks pretty simple. If you could, take pics as you go, especially how you change the settings. The more detailed the better.

Thanks !!

Can't say much about the EZ. The Juice was pretty straight forward with the only PITA being connecting up the turbo timer (just because its a small space). I believe the EZ has fewer connections, so should be a piece of cake.

Is the 65-75 Horsepower that the EZ claims gonna be real noticeable or not? (My first +HP mod)

I have the EZ, the dealer installed it... not sure if the power is not really noticable on daily driving, maybe if towing.

I do think that punching it from 35-70 is a tad bit more fun, plus I blowa littl black smoke.

I installed an EDGE EZ a few months ago. Took maybe 20 minutes and that was reading the instructions over a couple of times. Very easy! Yes, it makes a noticable amount of power! I tow a 26 ft. enclosed race car trailer and it makes all the difference in the world on hills and against the wind. I have mine set on the #1 setting (mild) and it does all I need. I haven't even tried the other two settings. I installed an EGT gauge and boost gauge at the same time. Temps always stay below 1300 deg. and are usually 900-1000 towing in 90-95 deg. weather. I've never seen 1300 deg. even on a big hill. I suppose you would need to watch the temp. a little closer on the higher settings. As I said, the power is very noticable! It is a lot of fun running empty, feels like a hotrod. Have fun.

I installed the Juice/Attitude about a month ago and can't tell any difference at any of the 3 lowest sttings. I haven't tried it on 4 or 5but Ihit 1400 deg. going up Vail Pass in Colorado real easy on setting #1. And the mileage still sucks!

So the Edge EZ will allow me to blow "some" smoke? Mine should be arriving within a day or two, hopefully i have no problems installing it.

How do you change the settings from 1-3?
What are the differences?

Pics would be awesome !! I'm tossing back and forth between the EZ and the Comp.

Not totally sure Mayfair, haven't gotten the delivery yet. However, I believe level 1 is mostly just for better mileage and a slight hp gain, 2-3 more hp a total of up to 75 i believe. As far as adjusting power levels the module has 2 torque screws that hold the cap on, and you have to move the jumpers to set the power level.
