Default High Performance Wastegate Actuator

I'm curious as to what type of boost pressure I can expect out of my 03. I'm running the Diablo Sport programmer and puck. I can touch 32 psi in performance mode. How much would a high performance wastegate actuator help? And just out of curiosity, how much pressure is a stock intercooler rated for.

Default RE: High Performance Wastegate Actuator

the stock IC will handle A LOT of pressure. . .however where the problem exists is the turbo itself. you can put on all the waste gate actuators you want on that stocker. . .but as soon as you hit 45psi. . .you run the risk of slinging that thing apart. also over that pressure you are just pushing hot air. thus your EGT's will climb, and quick.

now Ive heard of the stock head gasket holding upwards of 50+ PSI, however that 03 turbo will die at that pressure. if your wanting more performance, look into upgradeing your turbo.
