around here oil/gas companies would sometimes buy trucks off the local car lots and just remove the beds.. (then put a flat bed on) leaving the factory bedsitting in there scrap yardsin brand new condition.. why notorder a chassis cab RCSB CTD and then find a short box in a junk yard with the samecolor or repaint?.. (white would be a good choice) or you might get lucky and locate a box off a brand new truck.. beats the pain of a motor transplant

you cannot get a 2/3500 in a short frame(RCSB) you have the choise of RCLB, QCSB, QCLB and MC. you can hit up this company in texas that will fab you up a MCLB for some cash. but the only way to get yourself a RCSB diesel is with a transplant.
