it wont hurt a thing. . .it is only there for cosmetic purposes, and a cooler place to put the engine data stickers.
Sweet. I think I am going to remove it this Sunday and start getting it prepped. Looks like a lot of work but I think it would be worth it.

I like the one on Ebay too. BTW I hated the BFGs on my truck too. They wear out faster than anything I've ever used and have some very very weak sidewalls.

I'm glad you asked. I just assumed there was and I was thinking of pulling mine this weekend to do the same.I saw those billet ones from Geno's awhile back, but just couldn't bring myself to spend the money on them. Those will come at a later date.

I really like the pro comp line of tires. I know they give good life. I am also leaning towards the toyos as well. I guess when I have 1,500.00 in my hand I will make a final decision. that should just about cover 5 tires.

I had the BF's on my truck when I got it and I was really excited beacuse I've loved them on all the other vehicles I've had. However, I'm haven't been to impressed with them on this truck. Definatly going to change brands when it comes time for new ones.

Anyone run Dick Cepek tires at all? Just saw and add in a mag recently and wondered if anyone has tried them.

this statement is interesting...
"* * * Will not work with aftermarket air intake elbows without modification (including machining of valve cover)." I'll have to look @ mine to see if it would clear or not.
