Just made a few big purchases!
Well I just spent a bunch of money on some basic upgrades. On order waiting for shipment and to be installed are: (1)upgrades to my lift-new rear blocks, new dual steering stabalizer, longer drop down pitman arm (2)Banks Ram Air CAI (3)MBRP 5" turbo back exhaust w/ MBRP 6" rolled tip (4)Bully Dog Triple Dog w/ the Outlook monitor.
I cant wait to see what a difference these will be, ill let you guys know.

RE: Just made a few big purchases!
I've got a 2001 with a 5" exh & a 6" tip and it is pretty loud when you get on it. Almost too loud. But I bought it with that on there, so it will stay. I also have a Bully Dog Torque Dog (?), but it looks older than the ones on their web site, I'm guessing it only has one setting instead of 3. Comparing it to the other CTDs I've driven, it feels like it has more power- even with the 37" tires.
You'll like the upgrades. I think my next one may be a standard tranny since they can actually handle power- wish I would have known that before I had this one reworked.

RE: Just made a few big purchases!
Wanted to keep to my word and give u guys the outcome of my upgrades. All I can say is holy crap!!! The mbrp exhaust sounds great, easy install, just right and not too loud, although it is pretty dam loud. The bully dog w/ outlook is awesome, the power i get from that is unreal, also an easy install with the right tools and friends who know what there doing. Finally the banks intake, very easy install, looks good, and now it sounds like a train is coming down the road with the turbo just whisteling away. All the upgrades together made this truck fast as hell and I am extremely impressed, yes a lot of money but in the long run I think it will be worth it. All i need to do now is make a trip to the track and see what she can do. Ill post pics of everything asap.

I wonder how long it'll be before he decides to switch back to the 4" exhaust... I'm sure that once the ooo ahhh has worn off and he goes back to driving normal he'll have problems with low end torque. I read alot of threads of motorheads who did the 5" exhaust swap only to go back to 4"...
