I dont think it is... you should however check this page out in the '05 service manual for VB adjustments... 7276, the throttle pressure adjustment gap needs to be 5/8" of an inch otherwise you'll have funny shifting. the other adjustment requires gauges.
It can not be too hard. I am going to give it a try probably in January. I will get pics and all info and maybe try a diy of my own if it all works out well.

well, I already have the kit installed and it's under the tranny warranty when I got my tranny rebuilt. Otherwise I'd do it. If there were someone local who wanted it doneI'd be happy to give it a shot, it cannot be that hard.

Within the first couple of days after joining this form I read almost all the DIY's top to bottom. Losts of good info here. I'm one of those people that hate trusting my truck to someone else. If I'm capable of doing it then I'll do it. With that said I also know where to draw the line with a job I am not comfortable with. The DIY's are great tools.

Heck, Jake even help convinced me I could remove a snapped bolt from my differential. (thanks Jake)
Who knows what that saved but it only cost me 9 bucks and 15 minutes to fix myself.

Whew. That first one is pricey but if you do it for a living I guess its not bad.
If I start snapping more bolts I'll look at the 2nd one (and replace the Torque wrench too ...
