Anybody installed a winch on a 3rd gen? I assume it would be pretty easy since the Power Wagon comes with one, but you what they say about assumptions.

 

factory winch will not work with the cummins the intercooler occupies the space required

 

There are mounts or complete new bumpers that will have to be used.

 

I have the Ranch hand front bumper with the 2" reciever and love it, mounted my Ramsey 9000 winch and works great. just slide it in and pull it out........ooooooo baby............Dallas

 

Yes, I understand the factory Dodge mount (as found in the Power Wagon) and the Warn Hidden Mount will not fit inside diesel trucks.
You guys would have to go the more traditional grill guard mount or front receiver.

I have the Warn Trans4mer System. Not cheap in stainless, but I like it...

I fabbed it myself and yes it will pull the truck out (as well as other vehicles and a dozen stumps so far)
I am going to fab one for a local guy and make an extra one while I am at it.

Another one. The winch is removeable, I can hook it up in the back as well.
That's a 12000 # MileMarker.
This mount allows me to keep the factory hooks.
