I'm in the process of replacing my home's forced ac and heating. I called a few contractors and got just stupid bids. I talked to a friend and he told me to check out buyunit.com. I got bids from 5500 to 7500 for a 3.0 ton 13 SEER 75K BTU 80% Rheem system. On buyunit.comI ordered it for 2300 shipped to my door and another 400 for a local installer to connect the system. That means i work over the weekend, to physically remove/replace my old/new system, for 2800 to 5800, not bad for a weekends work!

Oh ya, toe injurys are the worst. But come on man, lie to us, make up a better story. Something like; some guy gave your wife a sideways look so to defend her honor you had to kick your way though his ford's door, you know Chuck Norris style!

Ouch, I've done the broken toe thing before, they seem to take damn near forever to heal (Yep, your other post makes sense now..)

Im also replacing my downstairs unit. Putting in a geothermal system and have the drillers coming by in a couple of weeks to drill the wells.
Between that and the truck, gonna be having some fun around here. (and gonna be a little poorer too.)
