I've had the Amsoil filter for about 6 months and can't say one bad thing about it.

Yes they are both nanofiber. Personally I don't care who's copying who, but they are an aweful lot alike!.

GRI-

Do you have any pics of how you installed the filter? I'm going to be ordering one here in shortly and want to have everything I need ready to install.

Thanks

The Amsoil nanofiber filters are made by the Donaldson company who also distributes their products elsewhere. Its also possible that another company makes a nanofiber style filter as well...

Do they make a filter that would fit in my Scotty Air system? The filter in it is a K&N RE-0880
RE-0880 Product Specifications [/b]

Product Style: Round Tapered Universal Air Filter
Base Outside Diameter: 6 in (152 mm)
Flange Inside Diameter: 4 in (102 mm)
Flange Length: 1.75 in (44 mm)
Flange Type: Centered
Height: 14 in (356 mm)
Top Outside Diameter: 4.625 in[/ul]
I didn't see where I could just put in sizes and find the one I need, it is kind of an odd size.

The closest thing in an Amsoil nanofiber filter to fit even you flange size is as follows:

Flange I.D.: 4.26 inches.. roughly 4 and a quarter
Filter outisde diamter (bottom) : 8.134, (top): 5.133
Closed top
Length/height: 7.811

Part number: Eaa191
Amsoil Web price $38.10 + shipping

PM me if you are interested.. I can do a better price than Amsoils Website...

I have their size and application guide
