I've seen them on the '06's & '07's... not sure why you dont have it on yours. maybe it's a CA thing?

True, Montanans don't generally pay attention to the mileage on their diesels. I want one.

I have only seen dodge or the stealerships put them on 1500's. I bought one for my truck, it was about $80. I don't know about how well it improves the mileage, but I just like the look. Plus if you are using a loading dock you can put your tailgate down on it and not scratch the paint.

I never knew that they were for aerodynamics. I just thought they were just a beefy tail gate protector. None of the 07 2500's on the lot when I bought mine had them, only the 1500's. I kind of like them for the protection.

I have been hunting a cheap new/used one. Every other 1500 I see has one, except for my 1500(2500) Mega LOL

shhhh.. Actually, I was talkin to a buddy of mine who is a salesman here and they actually had someone rip off a full set of wheels and tires off fo a 2500 and leave the truck on jackstands. Freakin funny
